As with other industries, industrial vehicles are also experiencing the movement toward hybrid technology. The vehicles of the future will move toward synchronized, smart and automated systems that involve a higher level of electronic intelligence. This includes fault monitoring and diagnostics for accident detection, worker safety, equipment malfunction and the healthy functioning of the systems.
Industrial machinery will also need a reduction in operator workload, cycle time and ultimately have more precise repeatable action reducing the amount of operator touch-time.
